SHIPPING & HANDLING

Q. When do you ship out product?

A. The Real Hair Smoothie ships Monday through Wednesday. Depending on where the product is being shipped, it can take 1-3 business days to reach the final destination. Since our products are perishable we have to follow the cold chain process. We will only ship orders on Thursday if the shipping carrier you chose during check out will guarantee it will arrive within 1-2 days.

Q. Do you ship internationally?

A. Unfortunately, since our product is so fresh, we only ship within the US and Canada. Sign up on our mailing list for updates as we work towards international shipping.

Q. How much does shipping cost?

A. Shipping is calculated at the checkout process. You can choose the carrier of your choice and the shipping method. We do not make any money on shipping costs, rather give you the rates that we get directly from the carrier.

Q. How can I get same-day delivery?

A. For local customers, Real Hair Smoothie does use Postmates for drop off delivery. Visit postmates.com for more information.

Q. What if I need to change my shipping address?

A. For any edits to an order that has been placed, email sales@realhairsmoothie.com with your order number and the changes you would like to make.


CONDITIONING TREATMENT

Q. Which products will work best for my hair type?

A. We suggest that you carefully review each product description to determine which formula best fits your hair needs. Please contact us via phone or our website messenger and we'll be happy to provide a free phone consultation.

Q. Can I use your product on color-treated hair, grey hair, locs, relaxed hair, etc?

A. YES! Because our product is made with all natural ingredients, there are no negative side effects to using our product, regardless of your hair type. However, we suggest that you check the ingredients to ensure you are not allergic to anything.

Q. Are your products safe for kids?

A. YES! Since our product is all natural and does not contain any hazardous or harmful chemicals, it's perfect for the little ones! Please check our ingredients to make sure your child does not have an allergy to any ingredients we use.

Q. Do I shampoo before or after using the Conditioning Treatment?

A. For the best results, we recommend that you shampoo first as normal, rinse, then apply Real Hair Smoothie so that all the nutrients will stay locked into your hair when you do your final rinse. We recommend your final rinse should be with cool water. Cold water helps to seal in your hair cuticle, making it lay smoothly while adding additional shine.

Q. How long until I see results?

A. You should notice your hair is softer, stronger, and shiner after the first use. After a few treatments, you'll feel your hair become more manageable and you will see the growth. This is not a miracle product and keep in mind that everyone's hair journey is different. We recommend that you look at a few of our customer reviews to see how their hair responded to the treatment. Q. How much do I use?

A. The amount of conditioner you use is based on the thickness and length of your hair. If you have short, thin hair, then perhaps only use one-third to half a bottle. If your hair is on the thicker side and more textured, we suggest using half, if not the entire bottle. The idea is to saturate the scalp with the product then comb from root to tip.

Q. How long do I leave in the Conditioning Treatment?

A. We suggest 30-45 minutes. Apply the conditioner and cover your hair with a shower cap. For optimal results, sit under a hair dryer, or a hair steamer, relax and let the conditioner go to work!

Q. How long does the product last? Does it expire?

A. Real Hair Smoothie will last up 45 days if kept refrigerated. Once you open the seal we recommend you use the product within 2-3 weeks. If you order excess product that will not be used for a while we recommend you put the unopened bottles in the freezer. Once frozen, the shelf life stops and starts again when the product is thawed. Unopened product will last for up to one year! Real Hair Smoothie is able to obtain a longer refrigerated life because all hair smoothies are processed using high pressure pasteurization. This is a no-heat process that most natural juice smoothies that you'd purchase at a store go through to preserve the nutrients and provide an added refrigeration life


DELIVERY AND TRACKING

Q. How long does delivery take after shipment? Can I track my order?

A. Any order that is placed will ship within 24 hours following our cold chain shipping schedule of Monday through Wednesday. Standard delivery will take 1-4 days based on your location. Immediately, after you place your order you will receive an email confirmation. Once we start fulfilling the shipment, you will receive another email with your tracking number and confirmation of shipment. You can click on the tracking number or visit the shipping carriers website to track your order.

Q. Will my Real Hair Smoothie Arrive Ice Cold?

A. All shipments are sent in cold packaged envelopes with a gel pack or dry ice, depending on how long it will take your shipment to arrive. Your product may not arrive ice cold depending on the season, destination, and other environmental factors. However, your Real Hair Smoothie should never feel hot like it has been sitting in the sun all day. We recommend as soon as your package arrives you refrigerate to maintain freshness.

A. We believe in the quality and results of our product so much that we offer all our new customers a 60 day money back guarantee! Send us back your old bottles of used product and we will refund you 100% of your cost if you are not completely satisfied.
